Space Force Series Premiere Trailer Reveals Steve Carell's Character

JAKARTA - Netflix launched the trailer for its latest series, Space Force, on Tuesday, May 5. Judging from the name, this series will tell you about things related to armed forces. Steve Carell will be the main character in the series made by the creators of The Office.

Through its inaugural trailer, Space Force tells of Mark R. Naird (Carell) who is appointed to be the leader of the newly formed sixth branch of the United States (US) armed forces called the Space Force. Even though he was skeptical, Mark continued to carry out his duties in flying soldiers to the moon interspersed with challenges and various funny things that occurred.

In one scene, Mark looks very worried about the Space Force mission. To calm down, Mark sang Kokomo from The Beach Boys while dancing in the room.

The name Steve Carell cannot be separated from his role as manager in the series The Office. His comedic action in the series has become one of the most iconic roles to date. As it turns out, Carell's meeting with Greg Daniels - the creator of The Office - makes a great collaboration for a comedy series in the world of work to look forward to.

Not only Carell, Space Force also featured John Malkovich, Diana Silvers, Lisa Kudrow, Jane Lynch, Jimmy O. Yang, Tawny Newsome and Ben Schwartz. Apart from being an actor, Carell also got the opportunity to write a script for the first episode assisted by Greg Daniels, Lauren Houseman, and Brent Forrester.

A total of 10 episodes will make Space Force an interesting spectacle. However, the first season of this series can only be watched on May 29 via the Netflix streaming service.
