Fendy Chow Makes Different Gestures to Look Like Millo Taslim

JAKARTA - Fendy Chow tells the role in his latest film, Surat untuk Masa Mudaku. He plays a role with Millo Taslim who also plays the character of Kevas.

"This is a fresh story, different from all the other stories that are in any cinema. A story that has almost never existed, which can evoke nostalgia and a sense of friendship," said Fendy Chow at a press conference in South Jakarta on Wednesday, January 28.

According to him, the character in this film is the most difficult character he has played so far. This is because his character has a journey so he has to make adjustments.

"The hardest character I've had in my career because I have to play with the existing character so I try to find what can change, what is the same. That's in terms of gestures," explained Fendy.

"From the story, one of them I was a little hard to let go after filming. This is a story about an orphan who doesn't get affection while I don't. There is a mixture of gloomy feelings until the last tear, maybe 2 weeks to 1 month of feelings that are left behind," he continued.

Producer Wilza Lubis also added, "The film has different creative demands and is arranged bebreda. Because it's a child, how can children shoot comfortably and happily and of course helped by Netflix. We have a teacher on set and when waiting, they learn."

Actor Agus Wibowo, one of the characters, also explained, "I happen to play a character that has a very strong function in the development of the story conflict so the character I play is about Simon who no longer believes in life."

Besides Fendy Chow, the film is also played by Agus Wibowo and Millo Taslim and his first long-term role debut.

The film Surat untuk Masa Mudaku will be released on Netflix on Thursday, January 29.
