JAKARTA - Director and comedian Muhadkly Acho shared a thrilling story that almost threatened the continuation of his latest film project.

Through a post on his personal social media, Acho revealed the "most terrible" experience last year when he accidentally deleted the Agak Laen: Menyala Pantiku! film script file which had been completed 70 percent.

The incident took place last March, right in the middle of Acho's busy filming the film Tinggal Meninggal. Acho said that the disaster began with fatal technical negligence.

"His intention is to make a scene option and wants to save it in another file. But foolishly, instead of saving it with a different file name, I accidentally replaced the main scenario file that I had written 70 percent," wrote Acho in his upload quoted by VOI, Tuesday, January 6.

Acho said his feelings at that time were like being struck by lightning in broad daylight. Considering the deadline (deadline) which is only a few days away, he felt like his world had collapsed.

"It feels like there is a big rock stuck in my throat that makes it hard for me to breathe. The view feels dark and the body is really limp. That night, in my head there was only one thing: 'damn, this shoot is a failure because of the cave'," he recalled.

Fortunately, support came from his wife, Maria Tanzill, who calmed him down. In the midst of despair, Acho decided to get up and start rewriting the script from scratch, relying only on the memories that remained.

Acho's struggle did not stop there. In the midst of his efforts to catch up on writing while still playing the character of Pak Cokro in the film Tinggal Meninggal, another test came. His beloved child had to be rushed to the hospital and undergo treatment.

This condition forced Acho to divide the focus between taking care of the child and finishing the script. He admitted that he had to open the laptop and type in the hospital corridor until the time of dawn arrived.

"I feel like I want to give up. But God said something else. It turns out that in three nights I wrote in the hospital, ideas actually flowed profusely," said Acho.

Acho's perseverance finally bore fruit. He said that the inspiration for the very religious mosque scene in the film actually came in the midst of his difficulties while in the hospital.

Right on the night of takbir, the first draft of the script Agak Laen: Menyala Pantiku! was finally completed. Acho admitted that he was crying alone at that time, feeling an incredible sense of relief.

Closing the story, Acho attached a touching message about a spiritual reminder that he took from the incident.

"That night I was reminded again, inna ma'al usri yusra. With difficulties, there is ease," he concluded.

The film Agak Laen 2: Menyala Pantiku! itself has now been named the Indonesian film with the most viewers of all time with a total of more than 10,500,000 viewers.
