JAKARTA - Former NU'EST Baekho left for military service on Monday, December 29. Before leaving for duty, he was a guest on a radio show on the day of his departure.

"I fill my days with work so other thoughts don't come," Baekho said, launching Chosun Biz.

"It's an honor to be able to greet you on a day like this. This is what my heart chose. I can meet again," he said.

When asked how he felt, Baekho admitted that he was grateful because he exercised and prepared his body until the day of his departure.

"Actually, I said I wanted to leave. They supported me and I was grateful. And actually I told them I wanted to exercise until the morning on the day of departure," he continued.

"I think the show is not rescheduled. I'm grateful for the invitation, but I'm happy to be able to work. I can't sleep, it feels like I'm not fully asleep," Baekho said before his departure.

Baekho, who was born in 1995, debuted as a member of NU'EST in 2012. After his group disbanded in 2022, he began focusing on solo singing.

This year, Baekho also acted in the drama My Lovely Journey with Gong Seung Yeon and Kim Jae Young.
