JAKARTA - The ADOR agency released a new statement regarding the renewal of the contract of NewJeans members. They stated that their exclusive contract with one of the members, Danielle, had ended.

Unlike Danielle, Minji and Hanni are confirmed to be discussing returning to activities with NewJeans. Their decision follows that of the two previous members, Haerin and Hyein, who have continued their contracts with ADOR.

This decision was made after the court declared NewJeans' contract with ADOR valid and had to be carried out in October. A month later, ADOR revealed that Haerin and Hyein expressed their desire to continue their activities with the agency.

With this statement, it is likely that NewJeans will be active with four members.

"After the court's decision on the validity of the exclusive contract, ADOR continued discussions with Minji, Hanni, Danielle, and the families of the three members," ADOR said on Monday, December 29.

"Hanni visited Korea with her family and discussed it with ADOR. We talked about the past objectively and after talking, Hanni decided to respect the court's decision and continue with ADOR. Minji also discussed and the discussion went according to the understanding of the two parties," he explained.

ADOR's explanation is different for Danielle. They find it difficult to continue Danielle's activities with NewJeans.

"In Danielle's case, we found it difficult to continue together as members of NewJeans and ADOR artists and we informed her exclusive contract which ended," ADOR said.

"In addition, we plan to hold one of the members Danielle and former CEO Min Hee Jin accountable, who must bear significant responsibility for the emergence of this dispute and for the departure and delay of NewJeans' return," he said.

Even so, ADOR has not announced when NewJeans will appear in front of the public. Currently, they are straightening out the information received by NewJeans members and are said to be a misunderstanding between the agency and the artist.
