JAKARTA - Nadya Arina is back acting in Benni Setiawan's latest film, The Last Flight. This film tells the scandal between a pilot and a flight attendant that shook the aviation world.

Nadya Arina plays the role of Tiara, a new flight attendant who is undergoing her first job. There she meets a pilot named Deva (Jerome Kurnia) and their relationship begins to run.

"For my own character as Tiara, it happens to be from VMS, we have a workshop with the flight attendant, former. We learn what the cabin and as a flight attendant is like," said Nadya Arina in a press conference in Central Jakarta on Monday, December 22.

The story of the film, which is set in the world of aviation, also emphasizes the romantic relationship between pilots and flight attendants, which is considered different from the relationship in general. Nadya said the story was interesting to be realized visually.

"If you are confused about what it is like, the pilot of his girlfriend has a lot of real stories but he said that usually relationships are not up, yes, but that's not all. We discuss what we want to make so that it's easier to shoot," he explained.

Nadya Arina admitted that she was not mentally prepared when playing the character of Tiara. Because behind the story that is drama, she feels this film also leads to the thriller genre.

"Maybe at first; I think it's good, this character is for myself, but why did I end up happy to join this project because it's like Mr. Toni Ramesh (producer), Mr. Benni said this happened around us and if someone says about it again, it's again (cheating) yes no because the aviation scandal is something we've heard but we've never seen the realization either," continued Nadya.

The Last Flight will be shown in Indonesian cinemas starting January 15, 2026.
