Atalia Praratya does not demand property from Ridwan Kamil in divorce lawsuit

JAKARTA - The Bandung Religious Court said that Atalia Praratya did not sue for child custody or gono gini property against Ridwan Kamil in the divorce lawsuit he filed. This was confirmed by the Panitera PA Bandung, Dede Supriadi.

"No (claiming custody of children and property), just divorce," said Dede Supriadi via text message, Tuesday, December 16.

Previously, a shocking news came from a pair of well-known West Java politicians. Member of the House of Representatives from the Golkar Party Faction, Atalia Praratya, is reported to have officially filed for divorce against her husband, former West Java Governor, Ridwan Kamil.

The divorce lawsuit has been registered at the Bandung City Religious Court (PA). The court has also confirmed the registration of cases involving the two public figures.

Dede Supriadi, confirmed that the lawsuit filed by Atalia had been received and processed. According to his explanation, the first trial for this case is scheduled to be held in the near future, namely tomorrow.

For information, Ridwan Kamil met Atalia Praratya in 1994 in Bandung, at an exhibition when Ridwan was still a student at ITB.

After having a relationship, Ridwan Kamil and Atalia Praratya decided to get married on December 7, 1996 in Bandung, West Java. Ridwan Kamil was then around 25 years old, while Atalia was around 23 years old. The wedding was held simply and meaningfully, and the initial cost came from Ridwan's work.

From this marriage, they were blessed with two children, the late Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz and Camillia Laetitia Azzahra. In 2020, the couple also adopted a boy named Arkana Aidan Misbach.
