JAKARTA - George Clooney admitted that he no longer kissed his female co-stars on the big screen. This statement was revealed after a discussion with his wife, Amal Clooney.

"I tried the Paul Newman route. "Okay, I don't want to kiss my co-star anymore," George Clooney told the Daily Mail.

The 64-year-old actor explained that this conversation began when he was 60 years old. He felt that he could probably do sports scenes when he was an elderly person, but not with romantic scenes.

"When I was 60, I spoke to my wife. I said "Look, I can play basketball with the kids. I can play with a 25-year-old kid. I can still" but in 25 years, I'm 85. No matter how many granola bars you eat, that's the real age," he explained.

During his career, George Clooney starred in several romantic genre films, including One Fine Day with Michelle Pfeiffer and Ticket to Paradise with Julia Roberts.

Previously, Clooney revealed that he had been criticized by a director for his kiss, which was considered bad. He admitted that he even practiced kissing up to 80 times.

"I remember at the beginning of my career, I had to do a kissing scene with this woman and the director said "Not that" and I felt "That's my way! That's what I do in real life" said George Clooney.

"It took 80 times to practice and I told my wife. It took 79 times for us to laugh and one of them was until we kissed," he continued.
