Pregnant Conditions Can't Stop Lesti Kejora From Going Down Directly To Help Flood Victims In Medan

JAKARTA - In the midst of busy filming and the condition of her pregnancy entering the third trimester, Lesti Kejora showed her high social spirit. She and her husband, Rizky Billar, came directly to distribute aid to flood victims in Stabat, Medan.

Pregnancy is not at all a barrier for Lesti to do good. He admitted that he was the one who insisted on going to the disaster site.

"Initially, you just wanted to, but I wanted to know what the conditions were," said Lesti Kejora in the Cibubur area, Tuesday, December 9.

The main reason is because he once felt the same suffering. The experience of taking refuge in a post during a disaster made him have deep empathy for the victims.

"Because I'm also afraid, I've felt in their position, slept at the post, didn't sleep at home, it took effect," he recalled.

Rizky Billar explained that when they arrived, the flood had indeed receded. However, the economic impact is still very much felt and residents really need food assistance.

They have actually planned this social action for a long time. On the sidelines of a busy filming schedule, they asked the production team for permission for one day to go to Medan.

Billar and Lesti thanked all those who had entrusted the mandate of assistance through them.
