Vino G. Bastian To Dea Panendra Character Stories In Mainland Lunar Film

JAKARTA - Netflix and Imajinari released the film Lupa Mainland, which is Ernest Prakasa's latest work. This film is played by Vino G. Bastian, Dea Panendra, Agus Kuncoro, and Emil Kusumo.

Mainland Lupa film tells the story of a high-hearted actor who one day wakes up with his vanishing acting skills. The actor must restore his abilities before working on his big film project.

When doing something, I tried my best. My wife and I work almost the same job so I don't feel like we have to be burdened. It was originally from the bottom so if the film is not successful I have to learn again," said Vino G. Bastian at a press conference in South Jakarta on Wednesday, December 10.

Emil Kusumo added, 'My character is here, Hasto. Hasto is a person who has a very big role for Vino Agustian turning his life around. Hasto is the manager, so when asked how big the impact and role of Hasto is very large because Hasto is the one who finds Vino's potential.'

Dea Panendra plays Dimi which he explains, "Dimi works as Vino's assistant but he is also Vino's best friend from their school days. Dimi has a versatile character and can put the situation and the environment in place."

Agus Kuncoro said, "This is actually a drama film if I look at the script, but how did Ernest work on it."

Ernest Prakasa as the director explained that this story became a form of freedom in making films because this film scenario became the most unique film.

Skenario film ini jadi salah satu skenario terunik yang pernah saya kerjakan. Biasanya saya menulis skenario yang berangkat dari keredaraan dari hal-hal yang cukup fissis dan berat, kata Ernest Prakasa.

Mainland Lupa film will be released on Netflix on December 11, 2025.
