British Royal Family Drama, Meghan Claims Call Her Father But Thomas Markle Says No Message

JAKARTA - Meghan Markle's claim has contacted her father, Thomas Markle after amputation of the emergency leg drew a question mark. Although Meghan said the Duchess of Sussex had tried to establish communication, her father admitted that he had not received any news from her daughter.

Meghan Markle emailed Thomas Markle on Friday morning Pacific time after finding out her father was undergoing leg amputation. The effort is said to have been deliberately not published to the public in order to maintain family privacy.

"Meghan immediately contacted his father on the same day after knowing his health condition," said a spokesperson for Meghan, stressing that the move was carried out in good faith," quoted from the People page.

However, this statement was indirectly denied by Thomas Markle. In an interview with The Mail on Sunday, the 81-year-old man admitted that he was confused by the claim.

"I was confused by that statement because I didn't hear anything from Meghan," said Thomas Markle.

According to People, Meghan's email did not fail to deliver. Even so, communication is constrained because Thomas is said to be not holding his cell phone and Meghan does not have his father's active phone number.

"Even if he has his number, contacting directly remains difficult because Thomas doesn't have his cell phone," said a source statement close to the situation.

Meghan has also reportedly contacted a number of hospitals personally to find her father's whereabouts, but has not been successful in confirming where she is being treated. If the location of the hospital is known, Meghan is said to be ready to send a written message directly.

On the other hand, a hospital source interviewed by The Mail on Sunday stated that Meghan had no record of calls.

"If Meghan or anyone she connects with calls here, we definitely know about it," the source said.

Despite this communication polemic, Thomas Markle emphasized that he still hopes to make peace with his daughter.

"I'm always open to making peace with my daughter. I never stop loving her," said Thomas.

I don't want to die separated from Meghan. I want to meet my grandchildren," he continued.

Thomas also added that he had never changed his phone number for years apart from Meghan.

"I always wanted Meg to be able to call me at any time." he said.

Until now, neither Thomas Markle nor his son, Thomas Markle Jr., have yet to provide an official response to requests for comment from the media.
