Film Ratu Malaka Ungkap Daftar Pemain: Claresta Taufan Hingga Dion Wiyoko

JAKARTA - Visinema has finally revealed who will be the cast of Angga Sasongko's latest film, Ratu Malaka. This project was first announced at the Cannes Film Festival last May.

In the JAFF Market 2025 event in Yogyakarta, Visinema also released a video of a character containing a list of players. Claresta Taufan played the role where he displayed his action against several people.

In addition, this film is also played by Jihane Almira, Ganindra Bimo, Lutesha, Dion Wiyoko, and Faris Fadjar. Wulan Guritno, Marcella Zalianty also played a role in this film.

The script for the Queen of Malacca was written by Angga Dwimas Sasongko and Irfan Ramli, marking the latest collaboration between the two after the success of the 13-Bom film in Jakarta. Irfan Ramli, who last won the FFI 2023 Citra Cup for the Best Adaptation Scenario through 24 Hours with Gaspar.

With a mix of magnificent stories and epic actions to be driven by Chan Man Ching, the global stunt coordinator known to work on several action films Jackie Chan participated.

Back behind the camera for Ratu Malaka feels like home. This is the most ambitious and action-packed film I've ever made, with the world living through the depth of the story and the intensity of the action," said Angga Sasongko.

"In this film, we are building something epic, fresh, and very exciting to watch on the big screen," he said.

Claresta Taufan called this film his first action project even though he grew up as a Taekwondo athlete. He will show a new side of himself for this film.

Entering my first action film was a great surprise. The workshop and the story really pushed me out of my comfort zone, and I found a new side of myself. There is courage and adrenaline in this film, and I can't wait for the audience to feel it," said Claresta Taufan.

Currently, the film Ratu Malaka is entering its production stage and will hit theaters in 2027.
