Taking Mother To The Final Rest, Raisa: A Very Beautiful Departure

Singer Raisa Andriana escorted her mother, Ria Mariaty, to her final resting place at the Muslim Cemetery (TPM) Gandul, Cinere, Depok, West Java on Saturday, November 29, 2025.

Friendlyly, Raisa greeted reporters to talk a little about the smooth delivery procession of her mother.

"Prayers like last week, AMI Awards, I pray for my fellow fighters, because my mother is also excited. And this morning we were called by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. But her departure was also very beautiful," Raisa said in Cinere on Saturday, November 29.

Raisa explained that before leaving, her mother did not experience any moments of illness or excessive so she hoped for prayers for her mother.

"Because there is absolutely no pain or something like that. So thank God everything went smoothly. I just hope for prayers for my mother. May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala accept his deeds of worship," he said.

In this time of mourning, Raisa also asked the public to provide privacy space for the bereaved family, including her.

"Thank you to friends who have been praying for Mother since yesterday when she was sick. Yes, just pray, and please understand, respect the privacy of the family in these difficult times. But thank you for all of your prayers," said the singer of the Most Mahir.

Raisa also added, "My mother, everyone I've met, I'll know. My mother is very warm, very fussy too, and likes to joke."

Earlier at the AMI Awards, Raisa gave her winning speech to Best Female Solo Artists by supporting cancer fighters including her mother. This is the first time Raisa has spoken about her mother's illness in public.
