H-1 Before Inkrah, Tasya Farasya's Ex-husband Suddenly Files An Appeal

JAKARTA - Tasya Farasya's beauty vlogger divorce process with her ex-husband, Ahmad Assegaf, is entering an unexpected new chapter. Exactly one day before the divorce decision has permanent legal force (inkrah), Ahmad's party surprisingly filed an appeal.

Tasya Farasya's attorney, Sangun Ragahdo, revealed that the divorce decision from the South Jakarta Religious Court should have been final today.

"It should have been inkrah today, but because yesterday's appeal, the process is still ongoing," said Sangun in the South Jakarta area, Wednesday, November 26.

This appeal made Tasya feel shocked. The reason is, all the applications in their divorce suit have been granted by the panel of judges.

Sangun's colleague, Mohammad Fattah Riphat, also questioned the motive behind the appeal. "What I think is also for what? Because we both agree," he said.

He added that religiously it had been handed down, so this divorce case should have been completed. This appeal actually raises the question, whether Ahmad does not want to divorce.

"What is this that you want to worry about? Doesn't you want to divorce? Want to reconcile? Or what is it like," said Riphat, implying his confusion.

With this appeal, the legal process for Tasya Farasya's divorce will roll back and take longer. Tasya is now waiting for a memorandum of appeal from Ahmad's side to find out the reasons for their objections.
