JAKARTA A new candle statue depicting Princess Diana in an iconic dress Revenge Dress or often called a revenge dress was officially exhibited at the GRevin Museum, Paris on November 20, 2025.
The launch was deliberately carried out on a date that has a deep meaning in the history of the Wales princess' life journey.
Reporting from the People's page on Saturday, November 22, 2025, the classic black dress became a symbol of Diana's transformation in 1994, a dress worn on the night Prince Charles confessed to his affair on national television.
The candle statue features Diana with very similar styles andACTS, complete with pearl accessories, black cliques, pantyhose, and pumps shoes as she looks when attending a charity event at the Serpentine Gallery.
The GRevin Museum said that the process of making statues was carried out very carefully to capture Diana's aura.
"We are trying to emulate every detail, from clothing to facial expressions. Diana has unique grace, and we want it to feel real in this statue," the museum said in its official statement.

The statue was unveiled to coincide with 30 years of the legendary Panorama interview. In 1995, Diana spoke openly with BBC journalist Martin Bashir about her household upheaval and life pressure as a member of the kingdom.
The interview then became very controversial. In 2021, an official investigation revealed Bashir used fraudulent methods to gain Diana's trust and secure the interview. The findings were criticized by Diana's family, including Prince William, Prince Harry, and his brother Charles Spencer.
The launch of the statue also coincided with the release of a new book entitled Dianarama by Andy Webb. The book discusses how the engineering behind the Panorama interview helped form Diana's life path which ultimately led to a tragedy in Paris.
After the official divorce from Prince Charles in August 1996, Diana's life ended tragically a year later. In August 1997, Diana died at the age of 36 as a result of a car accident in the Pont de l'Alma tunnel, Paris. Even though it has passed away, its influence remains strong in the world of fashion, culture, and humanitarian work.
The GRevin Museum places the statue under the main dome in a special fashion area, side by side with Beyonce statue, Marie Antoinette, and Jean Paul Gaultier.
With the presence of this candle statue, Paris again paid tribute to a figure who is until now considered an icon of humanity, style, and determination.
