JAKARTA — Taking care of your skin isn't just about your appearance, but also about how comfortable and confident you feel in your own body. By better understanding your skin's condition, you'll better understand what it needs.

Lactacyd Indonesia Brand Manager, Eka Puteri Widiyaningsih, invites women to pause and listen to the stories their skin tells them through the innovative "Museum of Speaking Skin."

"This is a three-day interactive experience held at a mall in South Tangerang. With the theme "Skin Speaks, We Listen," the exhibition combines art, science, and a multisensory experience that highlights the emotional connection between women and their skin journeys," said Eka, addressing Lactacyd's two-decade anniversary.

This exhibition celebrates the launch of Lactacyd's latest innovations, from a new, more elegant look and the LACTOBIOME+ formula to the latest Lactacyd Body Wash, which marks Lactacyd's expansion into comprehensive skin care.

"We want to encourage women and mothers to celebrate every journey they take in caring for their own skin and that of their beloved little ones. The purpose of caring for skin is more than just visual beauty; it also means keeping it strong and healthy from within," added Eka.

More than just an art exhibition, the Museum of Speaking Skin is an expressive space celebrating the journey of skin care, especially for women, through a collaboration between art, science, and the meaning behind the self-care journey.

As part of this celebration, ten Indonesian female artists and illustrators are showcasing 17 artworks themed "Skin speaks of womanhood, motherhood, and the beauty of the self-care journey," depicting skin as a medium for women's expression, journey, and identity. The artists involved include Aliffia Safitri, Amiwitchy, Chenny Aviana, Claudia Clara, Elma Lucyana, Junissa Bianda, Dr. Riva Ambardina, Sp. DVE, Saskia Gita Sakanti, Tanya Eirina, and Ummi Shabrina Dammas.

"We believe that skin is not just about appearance, but also about the story, experiences, and journey it has gone through," said Quang Long Tran, Country Head of Opella Healthcare Indonesia.
