13 Years Of Marriage, Dean Fujioka Announces Divorce With Indonesian Wife

JAKARTA - Japanese actor Dean Fujioka announced his divorce from his wife from Indonesia, Vanina Amalia Hidayat. After 13 years of marriage, they decided to separate.

Tuesday, October 21, Dean Fujioka announced through his fan community on October 18. He did not explain that their divorce was caused by personal problems.

"It's a personal matter, but my wife and I have decided to end our marriage," wrote Dean Fujioka.

"After a long discussion, we respect our views on the future and decide the best way is to separate," he said.

The 45-year-old actor thanked his ex-wife for giving him three children. He also always respects even though their relationship is over.

Throughout our marriage, my wife gave love and was generous to our family. Since we met 18 years ago, he has always accompanied me in joy and sorrow," he said, who also said that his ex-wife had helped his music career.

"Without him, I may not have realized the singing talent or the meaning of singing itself. I feel like I am now because of it so I thank and respect for those who can't touch me with words," he said.

In the future, Dean revealed that they will work together as parents for their children who are still growing.

"We will work together as parents for the sake of irreplaceable happiness and growth of children," said Dean Fujioka.

"I want to thank everyone in FamBam, my other family, who looks after and supports our family," he said.

Dean Fujioka is an actor who starred in dramas and films. He is known in the anime industry for filling out Yuri on Ice and History Maker's opening songs.

Dean Fujioka is married to his wife, Vanina Amalia Hidayat, who is a woman from Indonesia. They were blessed with twins in 2014 and a third child in 2017.
