Bae Suzy Becomes A Hero In The Genie Series, Make A Wish!

JAKARTA - Bae Suzy tells the characters in his latest series, Genie, Make A Wish. This series is his latest reunion with Kim Woo Bin after Uncontrollably Fond in 2016.

Suzy plays Ga Young, a woman who has no emotions and only lives according to the rules of her grandmother.

"Ga Young follows the rules and routines, eventually becoming a living person according to the rules compared to other normal people," Bae Suzy quoted JoongAng as saying.

The meeting between Ga Young and a jinn named Devil, played by Kim Woo Bin, became the beginning of their relationship.

"He's a story and strong but can be cruel. There are moments where he looks cute or feels sad," he said.

Genie, Make A Wish tells of a genie that wakes up after falling asleep for a long period. He wakes up because of a woman and eventually realizes the three dreams of the woman.

The script was written by Kim Eun Sook who previously worked on the series The Glory and became one of the most watched titles on Netflix.

Director Ahn Gil Ho directed the series to replace Lee Byung Hun after several episodes and chose to withdraw from this project.
