Leaked List Of Films Will Show At Jakarta Film Week (JFW) 2025

JAKARTA - The Jakarta Film Week (JFW) film festival will hold a performance in the fifth year from 22 to 26 October 2025. Various global class films will be present for film lovers to emphasize Jakarta as a cinema city.

The film The Fox King by director Woo Ming Jin is the opening film for Jakarta Film Week 2025. The closing film is Dopamin from director Teddy Soeriaatmadja, played by Angga Yunanda and Shenina Cinnamon.

Several programs will come back together with a new program this year. Jakarta Film Fund 2025 produced three films, namely Amelia, Daphne's Amelia, Fritz Widjaja's Condolences, and Tahlia Salima Motik's Salon Gue Aje.

In the Global Feature category, there are filmlims that will compete, namely Hanami from Denise Fernandes, Hysteria from Mehmet Akif, Lost Land by Akio Fujimoto, Sunshine by Antoinette Jadaone, and The Devil Smokes bylodia Martinez Busio.

The Direction Award category features four Indonesian films competing and not officially showing in theaters. These four films are the Pesugihan Sate Crow by Dono Pradana and Etienne Caesar, Ika Wulandari's Planet of Love, Tumpal Tampubolon's Crocodile Tears, Loeloe Hendra's Tale of the Land.

Then there are 11 short films that will compete in the Global Short category. The films that come from Japan, Hong Kong, Poland, Mexico, England, Lebanon, and Kosovo compete. Actor Abimana Aryasatya who debuted as a director through a short film entitled This is Budi's Mother will be shown in this category.

Competitions for animation are also present in the Global Animation category where 8 films from 8 countries compete and air through this festival.

JFW 2025 will be held at five points, namely CGV Grand Indonesia, CGV FX Sudirman, Taman Ismail Marzuki, Mercure Cikini Hotel, and the Indonesia Kaya Gallery.
