Preparations For The Competition, Pratama Arhan Hands Over The Reading Of The Pledge Of Rejection To Legal Counsel

TIGARAKSA - Attorney Pratama Arhan, Singgih Tomi Gumilang said that his client could not attend the trial for reading the divorce pledge against Azizah Salsha because he had to prepare for the Asian Elite Cup 2 competition.

"So today our client, especially Arhan, cannot attend because of preparations for the Asian Elite Cup 2 for October 1 tomorrow," said Singgih Tomi Gumilang at the Tigaraksa Religious Court, Monday, September 29.

"So indeed the club did not allow it. So I'm sorry, he couldn't attend today," he said.

For this reason, Arhan chose to use his privilege for the trial of reading this pledge of divorce. Arhan appointed his attorney to represent him.

"We have a special power of attorney (reading the pledge of divorce). Represented by the attorney, right," explained Singgih Tomi Gumilang.

"Here, the Adam who are Muslim are required. Today I am the special power of Mas Arhan," explained Singgih Tomi Gumilang.

Previously, the Public Relations of the Tigaraksa Religious Court, Sholahuddin, said that the trial for the pledge of divorce, which determines the legality of religious divorce between Arhan and Zize, is scheduled to be held at the end of this month.

"Earlier it was set on the date, Monday, 2 weeks ahead. September 29, 2025," he added.

Although the trial of the divorce pledge has been scheduled, the presence of Pratama Arhan at the Tigaraksa Religious Court is not absolute.

The court explained that there was a 'special power' mechanism that allowed Arhan to be represented in saying his divorce promises.

M. Sholahudin, stated that Arhan's presence was his right, not an coercive obligation.

"Yes, if that's his right, yes. Because we have, our obligation is to call. As for whether it comes or not, then it is handed back to the eh, the person concerned and his attorney," he explained.

Furthermore, he explained that the pledge procession could be delegated if there was a valid special power of attorney.

"If there is a special power name for the pledge, we will examine the power first. Eh, the Assembly will also examine whether there is a special power or not to say the pledge of divorce," added Sholahudin.
