Rio Dewanto's Chance To Coup Session In Justice Film

JAKARTA - Rio Dewanto shared his experience as Raka in the film Justice (The Verdict). This film is a collaboration between director Lee Chang Hee and Yusron Fuadi.

"The interesting thing about playing this rakka is that humans are not always the protagonists and antagonists. There is a reason. For me, when faced with that I do things there in my own way to get justice," Rio Dewanto said at a press conference for the film Justice on Wednesday, September 24.

In this film, Raka's character is told to hijack a trial in order to get justice for his wife. He fought Timo (Reza Rahadian), a lawyer who defended the suspect who was the mastermind behind what his wife was going through.

"Incidentally, Raka has the capacity to coup the court with his support behind him. When will I be able to coup the trial?" he continued.

In addition, Rio Dewanto feels proud to be working with two directors. This new experience helped him in character.

Cooperation with these two directors also learns for me. Work with Korean directors who have professionals, it doesn't mean that Mas Yusron doesn't exist but is different from Lee, who has technical and storyboard business but is more of a scene, dialogue and drama and so on," explained Rio.

Even so, Atiqah Hasiholan's husband explained that the challenges in this film could not be separated from the scenes at trial.

"The challenge is where to make the scene especially in the courtroom not monotonous because 60-70% are in the courtroom," said Rio Dewanto.
