JAKARTA - Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) is now increasingly lively with the presence of the giant art installation of Labubu and the character of THE MONSTERS by an artist from Hong Kong, Kasing Lung.

The collaboration was launched to celebrate 10 years of the MONSTERS series as well as open their world tour with Hong Kong as the first destination.

One of the most eye-catching is the 7 meter high KING MON statue that stands majestic in the departure area. This exclusive statue holds a paper plane and wears a T-shirt that reads 'HKG' as its original symbol.

In addition to giant installations, visitors can also find various photo spots with the theme THE MONSTERS in the East Hall limited departure area.

There are four 1.5 meters high statues from the characters LABUBU and ZIMOMO, complete with travel accessories such as suitcases, shopping bags, to holiday clothing. Some areas are also equipped with photo walls from illustration of Kasing Lung's original hands providing imagination-packed art experiences for tourists.

Kasing Lung said he felt proud to be able to present his creation character on a large scale at one of the world's busiest airports.

"SeeING THE MONSTERS present at this airport and welcoming tourists is a dream come true. I hope this work can bring smiles and curiosity to everyone who passes by," said Kasing Lung.

As part of the celebration, HKIA also released a limited edition of the LABUBU @HKIA vinyl toy which is only available at airports. This toy appears in a typical HKIA color and holds a boarding pass that reads HKG to Monster Land. This exclusive collection is only shared through promotion campaigns from September 25 to October 15.

In addition, visitors can also get a sticker themed by THE MONSTERS as well as other attractive gifts as a special souvenir from art experience at the airport.
