IZ*ONE's Miyawaki Sakura Announces That She Has Graduated From HKT48

JAKARTA - Miyawaki Sakura or Sakura ex IZ*ONE announced the graduation of the HKT48 group that raised her name.

Saturday, May 15, HKT48 stated Sakura graduated from the group according to her request. Her graduation concert will be held on Saturday, June 19.

"We would like to thank all the fans and parties involved who supported Miyawaki Sakura for 10 years starting from 2011 as a first generation member of HKT48, then AKB48 Senbatsu member, and a member of IZ*ONE."

As HKT48, Sakura became one of the group members before joining the Produce 48 competition on Mnet.

In the competition, she placed second and debuted with the group IZ*ONE. Sakura completed the IZ*ONE project until April and is reportedly in discussions with Hybe labels agency.

The BTS agency said there was nothing to confirm from the news.

Sakura and Yabuki Nako and Honda Hitomi have returned to Japan after the disbandment of IZ*ONE.
