After 17 Years, Sandara Park Terminates Contract With YG Entertainment

JAKARTA - Sandara Park became the last member of 2NE1 to terminate its contract with YG Entertainment agency.

Today, May 14, YG Entertainment released an official statement containing Dara's exclusive contract has expired.

"We thank Sandara Park, who has been with YG with a special trust. YG will always support the challenges sandara Park chooses and we will help her until she prepares for her new beginning."

Dara joined YG in 2004 and debuted with 2NE1 in 2009. After the end of 2NE1, Dara expanded her career by becoming an actress and presenter.

"We ask for support from fans so that the positive energy continues to shine. Once again we thank the fans who loved Sandara Park as YG artists until now."

Previously, Park Bom became the first member of 2NE1 to terminate its contract in 2014. Then Minzy came out in 2016 and continued with CL.

Dara has acted in the Korean drama One More Happy Ending, the films One Step and Cheese in the Trap, was a judge on pinoy boyband superstar, presenter get it beauty, mimi shop, real man 300.

She also collaborated with Park Bom on the song Spring and acted in the musical Another Oh Hae Young.
