Nephew Becomes Victim Of Beating Police Officer, Chika Jessica Reluctant To Continue Legal Action

JAKARTA - Chika Jessica opened her voice about the incident of being beaten by police officers during a demonstration some time ago that befell her nephew.

Chika, who had uploaded her story on social media, admitted that she had no intention but to teach a lesson so that the incident would not happen again.

"Actually, the post needs attention, but the attention is to be seen and there are no more victims," said Chika Jessica in the South Jakarta area, Tuesday, September 9.

After his upload, Chika admitted that many parties had offered to continue this incident on legal channels, however, Chika refused because his family chose to forgive.

"For example, if I extend it, I can. A lot of things suddenly my WA, from what side is that, who offers, 'Let's continue with all kinds', but I choose not to. I have chosen, the family has sincerely forgiven," continued Chika Jessica.

"The important thing is, we already know about this case so that it becomes a concern for them up there, don't let there be further victims after the ojol and it turns out that the incident also happened to my nephew," said Chika Jessica.

He also added that if there was no apology from the police officers who hit his nephew, only many people wanted to try to help mediate this problem.

"For example, if there is no apology from the person, there is only someone who wants to mediate like, 'Yuk, will you like this?' I don't think it's enough," explained Chika Jessica.

The reason is for Chika and her family, the nephew's physical and mental condition is more important than extending this problem.

"I saw how the progress of my nephew was, I also immediately brought all kinds of X-rays, but he was still traumatized. At that time he immediately took medicine, kept sleeping while being given what he was given, saw how the progress was," he said.

Chika also admitted that he was confused if he had to report this incident to the authorities, while the alleged perpetrator was also a police officer.

"It's just that I think what's the matter, if it's extended, it's not, it's Chaotic like this. I'm also confused, for example, it's funny for me, 'Let's report to the police', 'Yes, I'm the son... my nephew was beaten', 'Who's the same?', 'It's the same with the police.' I'm confused, right? If this is us and my neighbors, then our friends are like that," he concluded.
