Nikita Mirzani Proposes Suspension Of Detention, Reveals The Main Reason For Children

JAKARTA - Actress Nikita Mirzani officially submitted a request for a suspension of detention in the middle of a six-month trial process.

He emphasized that this request is the right of every defendant and the main reason is for the sake of his children who he has left for too long.

Nikita confirmed the legal steps she took after undergoing a trial at the South Jakarta District Court.

"The suspension is permissible, yes, all defendants may apply for a suspension," said Nikita Mirzani after the trial at the South Jakarta District Court, Thursday, August 21.

When asked further about the reasons behind his petition, Nikita firmly mentioned the factors of his children. The trial process, which took up to half a year, became the main consideration.

"Yes, it's a child. Because it's been too long, the trial process has entered the sixth month, it's been too long," he continued.

He also highlighted that his detention period this time was the longest in his legal experience. Usually, the process he went through did not take time so far.

"This is the first (detained so far). Usually one month and a half is enough, this is up to 6 months," said Nikita Mirzani.
