Baim Wong Changes Luna Maya's Image Which Is Considered Too Beautiful Through Sukma's Film

JAKARTA - Baim Wong is now trying to change professions as a director and producer in his latest horror film, Sukma.

Not kidding, Baim Wong invited Luna Maya to Christine Hakim to play in this second horror film.

He also explained that none of the players in the film underwent the casting process and were chosen according to his belief in the players.

"For Luna Maya, it's one person who I said it's just a requirement that I don't cast, isn't there anyone in the casting here? Not all of them, because we've all seen everything," said Baim Wong in the Kebayoran area, South Jakarta, Tuesday, August 19.

However, there was a unique story when Baim invited Luna Maya to play in this film. Where he asked Luna not to dress up at all during the shooting process of this film.

"Only one question I went to Luna at that time, 'Do I have a film, do you want it if you're not made up?' The question is just that," recalled Baim Wong.

Not without reason, the father of these two children felt that Luna Maya's face was too beautiful for the characters she would play in this film. Where Luna plays as a woman from the middle to lower class.

"Because, what's my business? You have to downgrade first, 'I've seen all the films you become all rich people. While here it's really difficult for you to be a middle-low person, because you're beautiful, you can't do anything about it'," said Baim Wong.

Initially Baim thought that Maxime Bouttier's wife would refuse, but unexpectedly the challenge was accepted directly by Luna Maya.

"Only one, can you do it, don't you wear make-up?' I thought he didn't want it. At that time at Senayan City, if I'm not mistaken," he continued.

"And for adjustments, how about at the location, every time I shoot one of the people I always say, 'Lun believes in me' That's Luna Maya. Almost every time I take," he concluded.
