JAKARTA - The Film Censorship Institute (LSF) has finally opened its voice regarding the reasons for the release of the animated film "Red and White: One for All" which has drawn a lot of criticism about the quality of the graph.
The chairman of the LSF, Dr. Naswardi, emphasized that the task of the LSF is to censor content based on the six criteria set, not to assess the quality of the cinematography of a work.
According to Dr. Naswardi, the film has gone through standard procedures and was declared not to have violated any censorship criteria.
"Based on the results of the assessment and research conducted by the censorship group, this film does not have rules of the criteria that are violated, yes. This means that all the criteria we have in the assessment process are met," explained Dr. Naswardi in the South Jakarta area, Wednesday, August 13.
He detailed that the six criteria that were the focus of the LSF were the presence or absence of elements of pornography, violence, narcotics, low dignity, blasphemy, and unlawful acts.

"Whether there is pornography or not, there is violence or not, it is related to the use of narcotics trafficking, low-ranking human dignity, religion, unlawful acts and in this film everything is nil. So we have issued a censorship pass letter," he said.
Regarding sharp criticism from the public regarding the quality of the film, LSF claimed to have heard it, but emphasized that it was outside their realm of assessment and was the responsibility of the filmmaker.
"Regarding criticism of this film, it is indeed part of a process that should be considered by the creator, by the owner, because it has to do with what it is called, appreciation of the audience," he concluded.
