Had Called Husband, Zawe Ashton Opened Up About Relationship Status With Tom Hiddleston

JAKARTA - Actress Zawe Ashton opened her voice regarding her relationship status with actor Tom Hiddleston. He had mentioned his lover with the word 'husband' so that it alleged that the two were married.

"We got engaged for a long time and, I think there are publications calling us husband and wife," Zawe Ashton said in Miss Me's podcast?

"There are even those who write 'no invitation', right. We don't do it in secret," he said.

Although they were just engaged, Ashton explained the reason they called each other husband and wife was because they found it awkward to still call their girlfriend.

"This is a practice of calling husband and wife. It's like seeing a ring on your ring finger feeling 'OK, this is a tradition that is likely to come', said Zawe Ashton.

"But this makes real married people disappointed so you realize this hasn't happened yet, so yes (not married)," he said.

Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton first met when they were in musicals in 2019. Then, they got engaged in 2022.

In the same year, Ashton revealed that he was pregnant with his first child. She gave birth to her first child in October 2022.

Currently, Zawe Ashton is pregnant with her second child which is planned to be born this year.
