JAKARTA - Surprisingly, Netflix released the latest teaser on Thursday, May 6, Indonesian time.

Short in duration, this teaser shows several children who are playing and a man who enters a room. A man asked how he was and the children answered well.

"Today I have something special for you," said the voice as the camera shone on door 11.

"Eleven, did you hear that?" asked a voice that awakens the character Eleven (played by Millie Bobby Brown).

The teaser leads to the theory that Eleven's father is still alive and Hawkins National Laboratory is still operating. Eleven's laboratory-dwelling past will be one of the central stories of this fourth chapter.

In February 2020, Netflix also uploaded a short teaser for Stranger Things 4 with the headline “From Russia With Love”. The video contains Jim Hopper (David Harbor) working on repairing railroad tracks.

Previously, Hopper died trying to connect Upside Down. Likewise with Eleven's father who was attacked by Demogorgon.

This latest video teaser has been watched more than two million times. The audience hopes that a new Stranger Things story can be released soon.

One of the Finn Wolfhard players has hinted that Stranger Things 4 won't be released until 2022. Netflix has yet to provide an explanation.
