Lee Byung Hun And Son Ye Jin In Park Chan Wook's New Film, No Other Choice

JAKARTA - Director Park Chan Wook released the first poster and teaser for his latest film, No Other Choice. This film brings together Lee Byung Hun and Son Ye Jin as well as various other well-known Korean actors.

No Other Choice tells the story of Man Soo (Lee Byung Hun), an office employee who is satisfied with what he has in life. The situation changed after he got the efficiency of his job.

In order to protect his wife, two children, and house, Man Soo started looking for a new job. His first teaser took a picture of Man Soo's anxiety while looking for a job.

"In the United States, they say being fired is like 'improving an ax', then what do they say in Korea? 'Lehermu is like a cut' Man Soo's narrative about his career.

This teaser has a scene change between a character full of intrigue and mystery. Man Soo who is persistent in getting a job, Mi Ri (played by Son Ye Jin) who looks tired and always be beside Man Soo.

In addition to the two characters, Seon Chul (Park Hee Soon) is a successful manager at a paper company, Beom Mo (Lee Sung Min) who is looking for a new job.

Then there is A Ra (Yeom Hye Ran) an artist who enjoys life, and Si Jo (Cha Seung Won), a land expert who looks mysterious.

This short video also shows the moment Man Soo reminisces about the beauty of being at a beautiful house with Mi Ri where they are seen dancing. All of that is in danger of disappearing after Man Soo loses his job.

Posters released for the first time also show various characters with their own affairs raise questions regarding relationships between one character and another.

This film is Park Chan Wook's latest work after Decision to Leave in 2022. The film Decision to Leave premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.

Meanwhile, the film No Other Choice will hit theaters in September 2025.
