JAKARTA - Two main characters in the film Sore: Wife from the Future, Dion Wiyoko and Sheila Dara are happy to be met in Yandy Laurens' latest film.

Before the film was released, they admitted that the romance genre did not have many enthusiasts in Indonesian cinemas, but they hoped that with the film Sore, this film could bring fresh air to the genre.

"Hopefully there will be many viewers. Yesterday, we just found a new record that the highest number one Indonesian film changes films for animated children, so actually Indonesian viewers are not horror, but hopefully drama romance will be a new hope too," Dion Wiyoko told VOI during his visit on June 13 in Central Jakarta.

I'm sure Indonesian audiences are bored and want other options and want to watch adult romance films with drama and cinematic and have to watch in theaters. What they are looking for is also a choice for Sore to treat their longing with epic romance," he continued.

Sheila Dara, who premiered in Sore, also felt an extraordinary experience when filming and it was hoped that the audience would feel the same way.

"Actually, the number of viewers is already in the realm of producers. In our domain, hopefully what we felt when filming can reach the audience," said Sheila Dara.

"The venue that was given, taken by the audience, became the subject of discussion with those closest to you, so the experience didn't stop at the cinema but talked about it," he said.

In a week of screening, the film Sore: Wife of the Future reached 667,560 viewers and continued to grow.
