Lakoni Action Scene With Doni Alamsyah, Teuku Rassya Until Alami Injured

JAKARTA - Actor Teuku Rassya competed acting with Doni Alamsyah in their latest horror film by the house produced by Ganesha Film, Syrik: Danyang Laut Selatan.

In the film, Rassya and Doni act as brothers and sisters who have different beliefs and ultimately require them to fight.

During a press conference, Rassya recounted the shooting process of the action scene which turned out to have injured him due to wrong hitting.

"It was (injury). So, at the wrong time, one of our coaches also happened to be here playing the character of being the one who helped Ki Dalang in the process of his crime, his subordinates," said Teuku Rassya in Kuningan, South Jakarta, Monday, June 16.

"In that scene, whether he hit it at a distance or not, he got hit back, but because he was the fighter base, our hands were injured, not his head. So, until he was quite big his hands were swollen," he continued.

This injury incident had disrupted the filming process of Rassya herself because she had to rest for treatment first.

"Lumayan (disturbing the shooting process), it's not bad because it takes time for treatment too," said Teuku Rassya.

On the other hand, Doni Alamsyah explained that for the action scene itself he and Rassya underwent a training process for approximately two weeks.

"We have a training workshop for two weeks, action training, but during the same training when we were shooting there were different obstacles," said Doni Alamsyah.

Doni admitted that the terrain during training and filming was very different, so it was natural for an error to occur during the shooting process.

"When we practice, there are no obstacles, the land is easy to stand but when we shoot the land it is indeed set up like sandy soil," said Doni.

"And at that time I used a lens contact and at that time I couldn't see 100 percent of my views, at least 30 percent of my views were effective and I only did what I memorized," he concluded.

Film Syrik: Danyang Laut Selatan ini juga dibintangi oleh Richelle Skornicki, Nikita Mirzani, Kinaryosah hingga Totos Rasiti. Film ini akan mulai tayang di bioskop pada 19 Juni mendatang.
