Super Irit Family Film Review: Warm Comedy Drama From Sasono Family

JAKARTA - The family of Dwi Sasono and Widi Mulia will become the next family of talented artists, because they display their acting skills on an ensemble through Danial Rifki's latest film, the Super Irit Family.

If Dwi Sasono, Widi Mulia, and their children - Widuri Puteri are already experienced in acting, this time the Super Irit Family film is also played by two other children - Dru Prawiro and Den Bagus. This film is also played by Onadio Leonardo, Oza Rangkuti, Indro Warkop, Coki Pardede, Oki Rengga, Mandra, and others.

The film The Super Irit Family tells the story of Sukaharta's family: her father, Tony (Dwi Sasono) and Linda (Widi Mulia) try to live a life that is efficient in order to live their daily lives. This savings range from the use of water, the distribution of food portions, to the use of electricity.

Their three children grew up with different traits. creative Sally (Widuri Puteri), Billy (Dru Prawiro) continues to complain, and genius Kenny (Den Bagus). The three of them tried to live with the saving rules made by Linda.

The situation changed after Tony received an announcement from the office that he received a drastic salary cut, while they had to pay rent plus children's needs. Linda considers the situation a business so that their families continue to save.

However, the struggle did not end there, because they had to survive after Linda's sister, Cipto (Onadio Leonardo) came to stay overnight followed by their grandfather, Hans (Indro Warkop) who was about to take a vacation. Sukaharta's family is getting more and more dim for their lives.

The film Keluarga Irit sews the story from the comic well. If in the comic the story is based on the situation, the film actually takes the essence and main focus of the five main characters.

Speaking of chemistry, the ensembles of the Sasono family seemed to play their respective roles, but the ones who stole the most attention were Billy, played by Dru Prawiro and Kenny, played by Den Bagus. The contrast of these two characters is diversity to form an image of a family that is often encountered in the real world.

This film has a big heart to maintain its five main characters in playing comedy dialogues and their conflicts without the impression of demeaning or sexist. As a result, more laughter arises looking forward to their scenes.

Supporting actors also play a good portion in this film, starting from Onadio with his 'disturbing', Oza as subordinates, to Coki who becomes a male figure in the shop. Everyone chooses the uniqueness that also connects the story.

Some of the story plots may not feel appropriate for the film, but it doesn't interfere with the whole storyline because the essence of the Super Irit Family is their comfort in having a family.

This film captures the reality of the Indonesian family with comedy and drama spices that produce warmth as well as joy when watching it.

The film Keluarga Irit will be released in Indonesian cinemas starting Thursday, June 12.
