Ariana Grande And Cynthia Erivo Meet Again In Wicked Trailer: For Good

JAKARTA - Universal Picture released the first trailer for Wicked: For Good, the second part of the Broadway adaptation film that airs in 2024. Still directed by Jon M. Chu, this film follows the relationship between Elphaba and Glinda.

Elphaba, played by Cynthia Erivo and Glinda, played by Ariana Grande, was brought together after Elphaba was exiled from the world. Gloda tried to save Elphaba from the attack of the Wizard residents but behind it, they faced real enemies.

In the two-minute trailer, Elphaba and Glinda also perform new songs and are different from the first part.

Several scenes also show the relationship between Glinda and Fiyero who are getting married in the second part of this film.

The trailer also shows Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, Michelle Yeoh asung Morrible, Jeff Goldblum as Wizard of Oz, Ethan Slater as Boq Woodsman, Marissa Bode as Nessarose, and Bowen Yang as Pfannee.

The first part of Wicked's film earned 756 million US dollars for worldwide views. The film became the best-selling Broadway adaptation that immediately ranked third in Universal best-selling film.

Wicked also received 10 Academy Award nominations and won a costume design that Paul Tazewell received and a production design.

Wicked: For Good will hit theaters in November 2025.
