JAKARTA - Mawar de Jongh for the first time tried out the role of soundtrack performers as well as starred in the same film. He became one of the actors in the film Tinggal Dies directed by Kristo Immanuel.

Mawar plays Kerin, an office friend of Gema (played by Omara Esteghlal) and someone who is very defending himself.

"Kerin is a friend of Gema's office who is sensitive to the current situation and very brave to speak up," said Mawar de Jongh at a press conference in Central Jakarta on Wednesday, June 4.

He was also happy because He Just Died as his first comedy film. He also wrote the lyrics with Kristo which produced a song called Stay

"This is the first official soundtrack and plays a role in the film. When I first came to this point, I immediately wanted to sing this," he continued.

Through her latest song, Mawar also returned to sing a fast song that had become a challenge. Then, he discussed with Kristo to adjust the nuances of the song to the film.

"It's a bit difficult because the upbeat is fast and looking for a suitable film. We negotiate and finally find the most appropriate part," said Mawar de Jongh.

The film Tinggal Dies tells the story of Gema (Omara Esteghlal) who feels isolated from her friends and work environment. The situation changed after Gema's father died and made his office friends get close to him. Gema doesn't want to lose that familiarity and starts planning who should die.
