In Order To Lose Weight, Ivan Gunawan Said He Almost Underwent Bariatric Surgery

JAKARTA Presenter and designer Ivan Gunawan shared his story about the bariatric operation plan which was eventually canceled. Ivan revealed that he had prepared all medical needs for the procedure.

"So yesterday I wanted a bariatric (compact hull). I had a blood check, I checked the heart, what all kinds," said Ivan Gunawan in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, Monday, April 28.

"Qodarullah, that's me on Friday I wanted surgery, I came on Tuesday, Friday I wanted surgery, I couldn't because I had to diet protein first," he continued.

After experiencing a delay, the operating schedule was rescheduled, but again had to be canceled.

"After that, it was moved to Monday, there was already a schedule. Monday it was not allowed by Mbak Jes, because there was a filming of breaking the fast, until finally it didn't happen," added Ivan.

Ivan then reflected on the cancellation of the operation bringing its own wisdom, especially in undergoing worship in the month of Ramadan.

"I was thinking, yesterday I was bariatric, which means yesterday I fasted for a month, I got nothing," he said.
