JAKARTA - Amazon released the first look video for a new film entitled The Tomorrow War on Wednesday, April 28. The synopsis focuses on Chris Pratt as Dan Forester, a high school teacher who is recruited to play a role in the future. They will fight against alien species that begin to threaten life on earth.
The soldiers and the elect will go to the year 2051 and fight in the global war. And Forester will team up with his estranged father (JK Simmons) and a scientist (Yvonne Strahovski).
Directed by Chris McKay, this sci-fi thriller film is also played by Edwin Hodge, Sam Richardson, Betty Gilpin, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Jasmine Mathews and Ryan Kiera Armstrong.
Meanwhile, the script was written by Zach Dean, the man who worked on Deadfall and 24 Hours to Live.
Produced by Skydance Media, this film is McKay's latest work after directing The Lego Batman Movie in 2017.
