Tamara Tyasmara gave a response regarding the Supreme Court's decision to reject Yudha Arfandi or YA's appeal for the Dante murder case.
Upon learning of the news, Tamara admitted that she was grateful because this proves that the law in this country is still running and fair.
"Certainly, after receiving the news that the panel of judges at the Indonesian Supreme Court rejected the appeal, I am grateful for this decision. At least the law continues and provides a form of justice that we have been fighting for," Tamara Tyasmara told VOI, Wednesday, April 23.
However, Tamara admitted whatever the sentence given by the court to YA would not be able to pay for the loss of the child she felt.
"But to be honest, any punishment cannot erase our loss. And there is no punishment that can return Dante back to this world. As a mother, that pain will always exist," he continued.
He still hopes that Yudha will be given the harshest punishment even if he is sentenced to death for life for the crimes he committed.
"In my small heart, I hope that the perpetrators will be severely punished, namely the death penalty or life imprisonment
