JAKARTA - Indonesia is a country that has a variety of cultures that must be preserved. Especially among the younger generation who are currently more easily influenced by foreign culture through technological developments.

With the theme Hikayat Nusantara, this art performance will tell about folklore taken from various regions in Indonesia. The story is packaged in dance, uniqueness of each region, songs, regional clothing, to ethnic Indonesians.

"We bring Hikayat Nusantara who tells folklore, which is well known, but maybe for the younger generation they don't know and will remind and teach," said Vice President Director & Deputy CEO of iberanya, Silvi Liswanda.

Through the appearance of folklore and their cultural arts, the audience, especially the younger generation, is reminded of noble, social and cultural values, which can form a good and useful character for the nation and state.

The story that we heard as children has many good values from ancestors that are useful for our daily lives, and also to build this country. We raise this archipelago Hikayat from several Indonesian folklore, but we take it to international standards," continued Silvi.

Meanwhile, the Sabang Merauke Performance The Indonesian Broadway 2025 is scheduled to be held in August at the Indonesia Arena, Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta. This performance will involve more than 600 music and dance artists, including well-known musicians Yura Yunita and Padi Reborn.
