Manuel Masalva Koma After Infected With Deadly Bacteria, GoFundMe Reaches IDR 810 Million

JAKARTA - Narcos: Mexico series actor Manuel Masalva is reportedly in a coma after being infected with aggressive bacteria after returning home on vacation. This news was shared by Masalva's friend, Mario Moran via social media.

"My brother is struggling for his life which is far from home. Until now, the situation is still difficult," Mario Moran said on social media.

"The cost of care is very large and in the country everything is getting more and more difficult to be any help, no matter how small it can be. If you can contribute, we are grateful wholeheartedly," he said.

Moran also provides the GoFundMe page for the treatment fundraising Manuel Masalva, which is still in critical condition.

Quoting Deadline, Masalva is in Dubai after being infected with the bacteria she got while on vacation in the Philippines. The bacteria are said to have entered the lungs and are still in critical condition.

In addition, Masalva donations have reached 1 million Mexican pesos or the equivalent of Rp. 810 million. The figure continues to grow as this news begins to circulate.

"Thank you to everyone who contributes, your support and generosity are very important in difficult situations for Manuel and loved ones," he said.
