Mark Lee Returns To NCT Dream

JAKARTA - SM Entertainment reported that, Tuesday, April 14, Mark Lee will return to join NCT Dream. One of the largest entertainment agencies in South Korea, which has given birth to a number of talented idols, released an official statement on the NCT Dream fanpage page.

NCT is a systemic group project worked on by SM Entertainment. It is divided into three: NCT U, NCT 127, and NCT Dream, all of which have different systems and concepts.

For NCT Dream, they use a graduation system for members turning 20. Mark, who became the leader of this group, graduated when he entered the age of 20, namely in 2018. However, today SM Entertainment announced the elimination of the graduation system for NCT Dream so that those in the group will promote permanently with the group. We Go Up and Candle Light were the last single songs Mark recorded with the group.

NCT Dream is ready to make a comeback on April 29 with their latest album titled Reload. However, for this comeback, Mark will not participate in promotions because he is busy with promotions for NCT 127 which will also comeback in the same month. However, Mark will return after Reload is released.

Not only Mark, the graduation system was also removed for members in the current group: Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung.

The next news is, NCT Dream will adopt the NCT U system where each comeback does not always feature all seven members but can be chosen according to the suitability of characters and concepts.

SM Entertainment also plans to carry out global activities for NCT Dream so that Dreamies (as NCT Dream fans) around the world can meet their idols. This news is good news for fans who miss Mark in NCT Dream. At that time, Mark, who was still young, could adjust to the concept of NCT Dream which was very youthful and cheerful.

NCT Dream is a rookie group under the banner of both SM Entertainment and the NCT group. Being the youngest does not mean that the enthusiasm of the members is diminishing. Evidently, they are one of the NCT groups with the most album sales among other groups.

Having just finished the Asia tour, NCT Dream also had a duet with international singers namely Ava Max, HRVY, and PRETTYMUCH.
