Surya Saputra Has Difficulty Playing The Role Of Husband Who Lost Wife In Heaven's Film Apak Bapak

JAKARTA - Actor Surya Saputra shared his deep experience in playing the character in the film Surga Ditapak Bapak. He revealed that the story raised focuses on losing and how every character tries to survive and adapts to new conditions.

"This is a story about the loss and how these missing members survive, adapt and adapt to each other and there are many questions from each character that will be answered in the ending," said Surya Saputra in the Kalibata area, South Jakarta, Monday, March 17.

For Surya, the exploration of the theme of loss in this project feels so real, especially because the character he plays must immediately rise and adapt after losing loved ones.

"The exploration of his loss, I feel really lost here and have to adapt and walk fast, I'm one of those people who feel like I've lost for a long time, it could take months or even years," he continued.

However, the main challenge for Surya is the way his character responds to loss quickly, something that contradicts him in real life.

"While here I was reminded 'let me have to work, I have to take care of what was left by my wife yesterday'. So the rebound was fast, it wasn't me, it was a long rebound, that's just for me," said Surya Saputra.

This role has also become a new lesson and challenge for him in acting. "Learning and challenges too," he said.

The film Surga Diterapak Kaki Bapak will be shown on KlikFilm starting March 28 at the same time as other films such as the Big Family, Prayers on the Head, and Mystery of Korek Api Bilik.
