Former Disney Star Maitland Ward Feels Taken Seriously As An Actress Since Becoming A Porn Actress

JAKARTA - Maitland Ward felt that she was not taken seriously as an actress until she left Hollywood to enter the world of porn.

By "taking risks" in the adult entertainment industry, the 44-year-old star can explore her love of sexual shows and exhibitionism.

In an interview with The Daily Beast, she explained: “I want to be a serious and deep actress while also putting on these great sexual shows and scripting in porn has made me an actress again - and maybe people are looking at me. like that.

"It's weird that I have to go from mainstream to pornography, say, 'Look, take me seriously as an actress,' and it took me watching porn for them to take me seriously as an actress."

Now famous in the porn world, Maitland returned to television.

Maitland now co-produces and stars in The Big Time, a sitcom about the adult industry.

He believes that actors must be able to juggle mainstream roles with pornography without being categorized by an industry.

Although this sort of thing was previously unheard of, the erotic star believes that perceptions are constantly changing.
