JAKARTA - Millie Bobby Brown spoke via his Instagram about public comments addressed to him. Recently, he appeared at an event and sparked discussions because of his appearance which was deemed incompatible with his 21st age.

In the video, Brown is seen talking without wearing makeup on his face. He talked about what he had been facing for some time.

"I started in the industry when I was 10 years old. I grew up in front of the world and for some reason, people couldn't grow up with me," Millie Bobby Brown said in his video.

"On the other hand, they thought I should have frozen in time, I had to look like I was in Stranger Things the first season and because I didn't, now I'm a target," he said.

"This is not journalism, this is bullying. The fact that adult writers take the time to analyze my face, body, and choices is very disturbed. The fact that this is written by women is getting worse," he said.

"I refuse to apologize for growing up. I refuse to make myself small to meet public expectations who cannot see women become women. I will not be bothered by the way I appear, dress up, or present myself," continued Jake Bongiovi's wife.

This is not the first time, Millie Bobby Brown has responded to public comments about his appearance. His career and growing up in front of the camera since the age of 10 made him feel like he was being monitored by the public.

"I'm facing how people distinguish my reaction from growing. I believe it doesn't have to change anything but it feels disgust and correct, the correct representation of what's happening in the world and how young women are viewed sexually," said Millie Bobby Brown.
