Sugar Factory Film Presents In 4DX Format On Eid Holiday, Erika Carlina: More Horrified And Surprising

JAKARTA - Sugar Factory films directed by Awi Suryadi are here in 4DX format to bring a more immersive horror film viewing experience. This format is the result of collaboration with MD Pictures, CJ 4Dplex, and CGV Indonesia, which will air during the 2025 Eid holiday.

Erika Carlina as one of the actors said that the 4DX format makes the film Sugar Factory even more scary and there are many effects of shocks when watched. The reason is, there are special effects and benches that are moved according to what is displayed on the screen.

"Actually, I watched horror is quite difficult, because I was afraid. Yes, of course, I know because there will be sightings. It's only when it airs on 4DX, the film becomes even more scary," Erika said when met after the press conference for the release of posters and trailers for the film Factory Sugar in Thamrin, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, February 25.

Although many other films are showing during the Lebaran holiday, Erika believes the Sugar Factory in this format will attract many viewers, especially many positive responses during the release of the poster.

"There must be a lot of competition, you must know what the films that will be shown in the future will be, but I am confident in the Sugar Factory. After a riot of posters, they must be curious about what the contents are. That means this is enough to be accepted by people and is considered quite promising," said Erika.

"What I can promise, you will be entertained, because you have a lot of attention, so it's varied, it won't be boring," he continued.

Because she believes in herself, Erika even believes that this time the film will be watched by millions of people.

"(The estimate) is more than a million, yes. But if you expect it, I hope it's two million and above. Hopefully the Sugar Factory can be successful, because this is good, good oath," he said.

In addition, Ssun Kim as Head of Marketing CGV Indonesia said that his party was happy with the presence of the film Sugar Factory in 4DX format.

"We are very enthusiastic because the Sugar Factory is one of the most anticipated films in Lebaran 2025," said Msun Kim during a press conference for the release of posters and trailers for the film Factory Sugar.

"We are very pleased to be able to present an immersive experience that will bring the sugar Factory horror to a higher level," he continued.

Apart from Erika Carlina, the film Sugar Factory is also played by Arbani Yasiz, Ersya Aurelia, Bukie B. Mansyur, Wavi Zihan, and many more.

This film tells the story of dozens of people who come together to a sugar factory to become seasonal workers. Every year, the factory employs people from nearby villages to speed up the sugar cane mill process in the harvest season.

At first everything went smoothly without oddities, until one night, Endah (Ersya Aurelia) woke up and left the location where she was staying to follow a mysterious figure.

Since the incident that night, the workers have begun to experience increasing terror, ranging from work accidents that befell one of them, to the death of a laborer in a pathetic manner in the back well.

Then it was revealed that the factory was side by side with the demat kingdom. Something has made the demits angry so they demanded the lives of the workers.
