Natural Stalking, Agency Ready To Take Legal Steps To Protect TWICE Members

JYP Entertainment released a legal statement regarding privacy violations related to TWICE members.

Recently, the agency revealed that several TWICE members had been stalking from individuals who went to the residence to work. This makes the members feel uncomfortable.

"An individual consistently sends letters containing inappropriate messages and images by dilution and they visit workplaces, residential areas and private rooms of TWICE members," JYP Entertainment said on Wednesday, February 26.

Actions like this cause mental pressure on artists and the people around them. "In response, we strengthen the security sector for the convenience of our artists and monitor the situation," he said.

The actions mentioned by the agency are also included in the Criminal Law by being in an individual environment and sending letters, messages, inappropriate images.

"The actions of disturbing and roaming letters around the artist's private space even though they object to a clear stalking case and are subject to strict legal consequences under this law. We strongly emphasize once again that this action is completely against the wishes of the artist," said JYP Entertainment.

"If the individual fails to immediately stop the stalking behavior, JYP Entertainment will take the most powerful and as much legal action as possible without any relief or settlement," he continued.

"We sincerely thank all the fans who continue to support and appreciate TWICE and will continue to do our best to protect our artist," concluded JYP Entertainment.

Previously, the agency stated that it would take legal action for deepfake videos related to TWICE members.
