Ilhoon, Ex-BTOB Admits That He Uses Marijuana Worth IDR 1.3 Billion

JAKARTA - Ilhoon ex BTOB is undergoing the first trial regarding marijuana use today, April 22 at the Seoul Central District Court.

At this first trial, Ilhoon's legal representative stated", The defendant admitted all charges and reflected on his guilt".

Launching Newsis on the same day, Ilhoon who was present at the trial also said, “I admit my mistake. I apologize". The seven defendants present also admitted to this type of charge.

Ilhoon was arrested on December 21 by the police for consuming marijuana. He was arrested after his identity was discovered from someone's testimony and Ilhoon's account activity.

It is known that Ilhoon uses virtual currency to buy marijuana for 130 million won or the equivalent of IDR 1.6 billion. The rapper performed his mandatory military service last May as a public service worker.

Last December, CUBE Entertainment declared Ilhoon leaving BTOB. On the other hand, now BTOB is participating in the Kingdom competition on Mnet television station. Ilhoon's second trial of marijuana use will be held on May 20.
