Making Pricelist Filming, Jessica Iskandar Doesn't Want To Force El Barack To Fall Into Entertainment World

JAKARTA - Jessica Iskandar revealed that she did not force her son, El Barack, to enter the entertainment world. Even though many offers came, she still prioritized her child's education.

It all started with a unique incident when El Barack suddenly showed his list of tariffs to his mother.

"Yes, at first I was already late and El Barack called to his room, then I came, then suddenly he gave the titlelist. Then I laughed in my heart but I mean I can't on the spot because I was afraid he would be confused," said Jessica Iskandar in Dharmawangsa, South Jakarta, Tuesday, February 18.

Seeing El's list of prices, Jessica was surprised and tried to discuss it with her son about it.

"So I said 'how come it's expensive?' I said that, that's it, 'yes, that's my pricelist, but you can negotiate'. But here it's written that he wants to negotiate, he said, 'no, it's not allowed for Mama to negotiate', he continued.

Jessica did not cover up that there were indeed many shooting offers that came for El Barack.

"Yes, there are many (shooting offers), but I said it was El's price for me, if the price of El is outside the market, it's his mother who makes the price list," he said.

However, despite opportunities in the entertainment world, Jessica emphasized that she and her husband, Vincent Verhaag, did not direct El to enter the industry.

"It's not directed (to the entertainment world), it's just normal for him," said Jessica Iskandar.

For Jessica and Vincent, education remains a top priority for El Barack.

"If I am with Vincent, the focus is on school first, if we touch filming, we will still prioritize school," he said.
