5 Years Of Struggling With Cancer, Vidi Aldiano Is Starting To Get Mental

JAKARTA - Singer Vidi Aldiano poured out his heart regarding his illness, kidney cancer where he has been undergoing treatment for 5 years. Unfortunately, despite his efforts, Vidi said that his treatment would not end until it finally affected his mental condition.

"At the same time, I'm actually grateful that God is still giving me that time so that I can continue to fight. But on the one hand it's also been 5 years, this is a struggle that hasn't ended yet," said Vidi Aldiano, quoted by VOI from Instagram @vididaliano, Thursday, February 13.

"So sometimes mentally also get hit, especially earlier this year until today, my mind has lost a lot," he continued.

Vidi also announced that this year he may have to stop undergoing chemotherapy due to side effects that can affect his body.

"So in 2025 there is a possibility that I also have to stop my chemo because it has been too long. And even if I continue, there may be more severe side effects on my body," explained Vidi.

It is undeniable that in the end this is what causes him to think about causing stress that shouldn't be allowed by doctors.

"So that's one of the things that made me think too, too much what if, what if it appeared in my head," he continued.

"And not to mention some stress-stresses that also arise from some outside variables. What has happened in me in the past few months. Meanwhile, my doctor said that my disease is very, very vulnerable to stress," added Vidi.

Sheila Dara's husband feels wrong about this and continues to try to find ways to reduce stress.

"No matter how stressed I am in my life, it should be said to be eliminated. But you know it's not, you know life is not like that, right. It's like life must have stress like that," he said.

"But I'm sick if for example the stress is high, the inflammation is high. So it's a bit bit bit confused about life, there's no stress, guys. This Vidi is still looking for ways to continue to manage stress," he said.
